The authors of articles and reviews in the very act of sending contributions will by default be assumed to be in agreement with our Author Guidelines. Therefore, before sending any contributions, the authors should carefully read the Author Guidelines, Submission Preparation Checklist and the Copyright Notice and should only send their contributions if they are in full agreement with the same.
Author Guidelines

ANURANAN publishes original research articles, review articles, case studies, book reviews, and critical commentaries that fall within its scope. In principle, an original research article should not exceed 6000 words, including all illustrations and references.

ANURANAN accepts research articles and reviews written only in Bengali language.

Papers must be submitted on the understanding that they have not been published elsewhere (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture, review, or thesis) and are not currently under consideration by another journal published by any other publisher.

The submitting author is responsible for ensuring that the article’s publication has been approved by all the other coauthor(s), if any.

It is also the authors’ responsibility to ensure that the articles related to particular sources are submitted with the necessary approval.

The manuscript must be prepared keeping in mind the points mentioned in the submission guidelines and preferably submitted online or sent to anurananjournal@gmail.com

ANURANAN editorial board would ensure that each submission would go through the blind peer-review process before publication in this journal. Manuscripts deemed suitable for publication are sent to the reviewers.

Publication of solicited manuscripts is not guaranteed. In most cases, manuscripts are accepted conditionally, pending an author’s revision of the material.

Submission Preparation Checklist
- Authors must submit at least two documents: a Title Page and an Anonymous Manuscript. All materials identifying authors must be removed from the anonymous manuscript to facilitate the blind peer-review process.
- The prospective authors are requested to send the soft copy of an editable document composed with Bangla fonts. Preferably the document should be in BanglaWord or Google Transliteration format. Please do not send scanned PDF or image files as manuscripts.
- Anuranan is an online web-only journal; hence, do not send the handwritten manuscript for publication unless specifically solicited.
- Authors must submit a separate title page that includes the title of the paper, authors’ names, institutional affiliation, addresses, telephone/fax numbers and e-mail addresses. A postal address and email address will be published in ANURANAN as part of the article.
- The authors must submit a short biographical note of approximately 100 words for each author.
- The manuscript must include a brief abstract/summary of the paper within 200 words. The abstract/summary should mention briefly the salient points/arguments of the paper.
- The abstract/summary must be the first section in the manuscript.
- Please include original source of table/illustrations/diagrams if not your own.
- Artwork/Photograph should also be sent in electronic form (as JPEG, PNG, GIF etc.) with the article.
- Please note that only Endnotes must be used to mention the references. Footnotes should strictly be avoided. Endnotes should be numbered sequentially as superscript numerals. Endnote numbers should be placed after punctuation.
- Where available, URLs for the references should be provided.
Copyright Notice
- The author(s) warrant(s) that the paper is original and that he/she is the author of the paper, except for material that is clearly identified as to its original source, with permission notices from the copyright owners where required.
- The author(s) ensure(s) that all the references are mentioned in the paper correctly and they are accurate in the text as well as in the list of references (and vice versa).
- Author(s) retain(s) copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work’s authorship and initial publication in this journal.
- Authors are allowed to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal’s published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
- Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work.
- The author is responsible for obtaining permission to quote copyrighted material (including figures and tables) and must pay all fees, if required, for the use of such material before submitting the manuscript for consideration.
